With school starting, you may need to start up your mornings with a pit stop to Starbucks with your friend before heading off to first period. Let's be honest, whether you wear this look out to lunch or to school (might need to opt for different shoes depending on your comfort zone) you will be rocking the runway! Also, I don't know what your dress code is like but add an easy cardigan and make sure your shorts are finger tip length before meeting eye to eye with the dean for a dress code referral.
